ORDINANCE N0. 1~~8
AN ORDINANCE ABATING ALL OF THE BOND LEVY FOR THE 1991-1992 FISCAL
YEAH ($300,000 Principal Amount Alternate Revenue Bonds Series
1989)
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has by Ordinance No. 1264
previously authorized the issue of $300,000 principal amount
Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 1989; and,
WHEREAS, it now appears that the City has, or, will have on
hand, sewer and water funds sufficient to abate all of such bond
levy for the City~s 1991-1992 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That $72,150.00 of the levy for City of Canton $300,000
Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 1989, for the City of Canton
1991-1992 fiscal year be, and the same hereby is, abated.
2. That all other levies are hereby reaffirmed and
ratified.
3. That the City Clerk shall certify a copy of this
Ordinance to the Fulton County Clerk as and for said Clerks
authority to abate $72,150.00 of said levy.
4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illoinois, and approval by the Mayor
thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 17th day of December,
1991, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AVID; Aldermen Molleck, Coay, Sarff, Steck, Bohler, Meade,
Barnett, May.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT:Nane.
