AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR THE EZTENSION OF
NORTH 16TH AYENUE IN THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of June, 1991 Canton Development
Company did convey and dedicate to the City of Canton, Illinois,
the real estate hereinafter described, to be perpetually used for
road purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Canton, Illinois, accepts from Canton
Development Company the following described real estate:
A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 25, Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth
Principal Meridian, Fulton County, Illinois, described as
follows and bearings are for descriptive purposes only:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Southwest
Quarter; thence along the North line of said Southwest
Quarter bearing N.89 20'00"E., a distance of 389.25 ft. to
the ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING: thence continuing along said
North line bearing N.89 20'00"E., a distance of 50.00 ft;
thence bearing S.0 00'55"E., a distance of 52.48 ft., thence
214.59 ft. along a curve to the right whose radius is 325.00
ft. and whose chord bears 5.18 54'00"W., a distance of
210.71 ft.; thence bearing 5.37 48'54"W., a distance of
102.88 ft.; thence 181.55 ft. along a curve to the left
whose radius is 275.00 ft. and whose chord bears S.18
54'07"W., a distance of 178.27 ft.; thence bearing S.0
00'41"E. a distance of 161.21 ft. to the South Property
line; thence along said South Property line bearing 5.90
00'00"W., a distance of 50.00 ft. to the Property Corner;
thence bearing N.0 00'41"W., a distance of 161.20 ft.;
thence 214.56 ft. along a curve to the right whose radius is
325.00 ft. and whose chord bears N.18 54'07"E., a distance
of 210.69 ft.; thence bearing N.37 48'54"E., a distance of
102.88 ft.; thence 181.57 ft. along a curve to the left
whose radius is 275.00 ft. and whose chord bears N.18
54'00"E., a distance of 178.29 ft.; thence bearing N.0
00'55"W., a distance of 51.91 ft. to the Point of Beginning,
containing 0.818 acres, situated in the County of Fulton and
State of Illinois,
to be perpetually used by said City as a public street for the use
and benefit of the public as well as for the use and benefit of
the adjoining property and of Canton Development Company.
2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with
an accurate map of the territory above described, together with
the certificate thereof, shall be recorded with the Recorder of
Deeds of Fulton County, Illinois.
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of CAnton, Fulton
County, Illinois this 2nd day of July, 1991 upon a roll call
vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen May, Barnett, Meade, Bohler, Steck, Sarff.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Aldermen Coay, Molleck.
