AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF SOURTH AVENUE
B FROM THE SODTH RIGHT-OF--WAY LINE OF EAST PINE STREET
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the Canton
City Council has determined it is necessary, desirable and in the
best interest of the City of Canton to eliminate parking on the
East side of South Avenue B from the South right-of-way line of
East Pine Street to a point 60~ South of the Sourth right-of-way
line of East Pine Street; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination.
NOW, THII~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be fact.
2. That parking be eliminated on the East side of South
Avenue B from the South right-of-way line of East Pine Street to a
point bO~ South of the South right-of-way line of East Pine
Street.
3. That all ordinances, or, portions of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby rescinded and repealed.
L,.. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten (10) days after its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, approval by the Mayor thereof,
and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause appropriate
signs to be posted.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 18~ day of

AYES: Aldermen May, Barnett, Bohler, Steck, Sarff,(,oay, Molleck.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT : Alderman. I ieade .
