AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARgING IN 400 BLOCg OF DEAN COIIRT
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the Canton
City Council has determined it is necessary, desirable and in the
best interest of the City of Canton to eliminate parking on the
east side of Dean Court a distance of l,.4~ from the crosswalk at
the corner of East Ash Street; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follo~~rs:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be fact.
2. That parking on Dean Court a distance of ~./~~ from the
crosswalk at the corner of East Ash Street is prohibited on the
east side of the street.
3. That all ordinances, or, portions of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby rescinded and repealed.
!~. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten (10) days after its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, approval by the A~ayor thereof,
and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause appropriate
signs to be posted on Dean Court.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 2nd day of
