D29 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PROVISION 9-10-2 RELATIVE TO PARKING IN THE CITY OF CANTON,ILLINOIS WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Code and the City of Canton Code, the City of Canton has the authority to determine the use of its roadways and to designate appropriate parking and no parking areas within its municipal boundaries;and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton has determined that an area located on South Sixth Avenue needs to be added to the no parking provisions of this Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council for the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois,as follows: SECTION 1: Under the Code of Ordinances of the City of Canton is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 9-10-2: PARKING (A)No Parking:No person shall park a vehicle on the following streets of the city: Anderson Place North or west side,between the south curb lines of South Fifth Avenue and the north curb lines of South Seventh Avenue at any time for any continuous period in excess of two(2)hours'duration. Ash Street South side,from North Main Street east to Fifteenth Avenue. Avenue A On the cast side or the west side of Avenue A in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the north curb line of West Pine Street and the south curb line of West Locust Street. Avenue D No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the west side of Avenue D between the north right of way line of West Chestnut Street,and the south right of way line of West Locust Street. Baxter Court East side, from the north curb line of East Ash Street to the south curb line of East Myrtle Street. Birch Street No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the north side of Birch Street in the city between the east curb line of Fourth Avenue and a point one hundred thirty five '.. feel(135')east of the east curb line of Fourth Avenue. I No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the south side of Birch Street in 1 the city between the east curb line of Fourth Avenue and the west curb line of Fifth Avenue. North side,between the east curb line of North Main Street and the west curb line of First Avenue. Hockey Street No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the north side or the south side of Buckey Street in the city. Any person who violates this provision shall,upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than five dollars($5.00),nor more than two hundred dollars(5200.00)for each offense. Cherry Street South side,from the west curb line of South Fifth Avenue to the westerly terminus of said Cherry Street for more than two(2)consecutive hours at any one time between the 1 hours of six o'clock(6:00)A.M.and six o'clock(6:00)P.M. Chestnut Street The north side of Chestnut Sweet between First Avenue and Eighth Avenue;and,on the south side of Chestnut Street between Third Avenue and Eighth Avenue in the city. Custer Place No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the south side of Custer Place in the city between the east curb line of Fifth Avenue and the west curb line of Ninth Avenue. No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the north side of Custer Place between the east curb line of North Fifth Avenue and the west curb line of North Sixth Avenue. Dean Court Parking on Dean Court a distance of forty four feet(44')from the crosswalk at the comer of East Ash Sweet is prohibited on the east side of the sweet. West side, from the south curb line of East Myrtle Street to the north curb line of East Ash Sweet. East Ash Sweet On the north side or the south side of East Ash Street in the city between the east curb line of North Main Street and the west curb line of North Eleventh Avenue. On the south side of the 1500 block of East Ash Street there shall be no parking from seven o'clock(7:00)A.M.to nine o'clock(9:00)A.M. and two o'clock(2:00)P.M.until four o'clock(4:00)P.M.on days when school is in session.Any person who violates this provision shall, upon conviction or plea,be subject to a fine of not less than twenty dollars($20.00)nor more than thirty five dollars($35.00)for each such offense. East Beech Sweet No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on both sides of East Beech Street between the east curb line of South Main Street and the east city limits. East Birch Street Parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited by nonresidents on East Birch Street between North Main Sweet and North First Avenue. East Chestnut On the north side or the south side of East Chestnut Sweet in the city of Canton, Illinois, Sweet between the east curb line of North Eleventh Avenue and the west curb line of North Twentieth Avenue(Bradley Comers). On the north side of East Chestnut Street in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the east curb line of North Eighth Avenue and the west curb line of North Eleventh Avenue. On the north side of East Chestnut Sweet in the city of Canton,Illinois,between the east curb line of North Fifth Avenue and the west curb line of North Eighth Avenue. On the south side of East Chestnut Street in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the east curb line of North Eighth Avenue and the west curb line of North Eleventh Avenue. South side,from the east curb line of Fifth Avenue to the west curb line of Seventh Avenue. South side of East Chestnut Street in said city between the east curb line of Second Avenue in said city and a point on said East Chestnut Street one hundred feet(100')east thereof at any time for more than two(2)continuous hours. In the area contemplated in the preceding paragraph except parallel with said East 2 Chestnut Street and on the south side thereof. Any person who violates this provision shall be subject to a fine of not less than five dollars($5.00)and not more than two hundred dollars($200.00). East Elm Street South side, from the cast curb line of South Fifth Avenue to the west curb line of South Seventh Avenue. Two(2)hour parking on the north side of East Elm Street between North Second Avenue and North Third Avenue: 1. Parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted for a two(2)hour limit on the north side of East Elm Street from the west right of way line of North Third Avenue to the east right of way line of North Second Avenue in the city. 2. Parking on the north side of East Elm Street from the west right of way line of North Third Avenue to the east right of way line of North Second Avenue shall be parallel parking only. Any person who violates this provision shall,upon conviction,be subject to a fine of not less than five dollars($5.00)nor more than five hundred dollars($500.00)for each such violation. East Liberty On the north side or the south side of East Liberty Place in the city of Canton, Illinois, Place between the east curb line of North Fifth Avenue and the west curb line of North Sixth Avenue. East Linn Street On the north side of East Linn Street in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the east curb line of South Main Street and the west curb line of South Fifth Avenue. On the south side of East Linn Street in said city between the east curb line of South Fifth Avenue to the west curb line of South Sixth Avenue. East Locust Either side, from Main Street to North Fifth Avenue or on either side of Fifth Avenue Street from East Locust Street to East Linn Street,except for an interval of no longer than ten (10)minutes for the purpose of loading or unloading passengers or goods;provided, however,that the foregoing exception shall not apply to that portion of East Locust Street from North Third Avenue to North Fifth Avenue where,because of narrowness of that portion of said street,there shall be no parking on either side except for the actual loading and unloading of passengers. South side,from the east curb line of North Fifth Avenue to the west curb line of North Eleventh Avenue. East Maple On the north side or the south side of East Maple Street in the city between the east curb Street line of South Fourth Avenue and the west curb line of South Fifth Avenue. South side,between the west curb line of South Second Avenue to the east curb line of South First Avenue. South side,between the west curb line of South Seventh Avenue and the east curb line of South Fifth Avenue for more than two(2)consecutive hours in any one day. East Myrtle On the north side or the south side of East Myrtle Street in the city between the east curb Street line of North Eleventh Avenue and the west curb line of North Fifteenth Avenue. 3 South side,from North Eighth Avenue to the east corporation limits,except for the unloading of goods or the discharging of passengers. South side, from the west curb line of North First Avenue to a point two hundred feet (200')west of said curb line. East Oak Street On the south side of the 400 block of East Oak Street. East Olive Street South side,from the east curb line of North Main Street to a point twenty feet(20')east of the west curb line of Royal Court as projected or extended south. South side, from North Seventh Avenue to North Eleventh Avenue,except for the unloading of goods or the discharging of passengers. East Pine Street North side,between the east curb line of South Second Avenue and the west curb line of Van Buren Court. South side,from the east curb line of South Fifth Avenue to the west curb line of South Eleventh Avenue. East Sycamore Motor vehicle parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited from six o'clock(6:00)P.M. Street until six o'clock(6:00)A.M. Central Time on East Sycamore Street between North Main Street and North First Avenue. South side, from the east right of way line of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad to North Eleventh Avenue,except for the unloading of goods or the discharging of passengers. East Vine Street South side, from the east curb line of North Main Street to the west curb line of Royal Court. East Walnut I South side, from the east curb line of South Fifth Avenue to the west curb line of South Street Eleventh Avenue. Eleventh Avenue Both sides of Eleventh Avenue between East Myrtle Street north to the city limits. No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the east side of Eleventh Avenue in the city between the south curb line of Ash Street and the north curb line of Locust ''.,. Street. The west side of Eleventh Avenue between East Ash Street and East Myrtle Street. Enterprise Drive On the east and west side of Enterprise Drive. Fifteenth Avenue Either side,between the north curb line of Ash Street and the south curb line of Myrtle Street. Fifth Avenue No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on either the east or the west side of Fifth Avenue in the city between the north curb line of Locust Street and the south curb line of Ash Street. Hickory Street Along the public right of way on Hickory Street from the intersection of Main Street westerly to the structure over Big Creek,a distance of two thousand eight hundred fifty 4 feet(2,850').Said street being designated FAU Route 0013 and also being the extension of County Highway 5 and FAS Route 456,known locally as the Canton to Cuba Road. Nothing herein shall apply to emergency vehicles,nor to the official performance of traffic control,nor to vehicles temporarily disabled which are to be removed within a proper time. Hickory Street The South Side of Hickory Street between South 6ih Avenue and South 51'Avenue. Illinois Route Parking within the limits of the improvement on Illinois Route 9/I11inois Route 78(Fifth 9/Illinois Route Avenue).Any person,firm,or corporation violating this provision shall be fined not less 78(Fifth than five dollars(55.00)for each offense,and a separate offense shall be deemed Avenue) committed for each and every day which a violation continues or exists. In addition to the fines set out in this section,any member of the city council is hereby authorized to have an offending vehicle removed from this area designated as a no parking area and said expense for the removal shall be paid by the person found guilty of the offense in addition to the fines set forth above. Johnson Court I On the west side of Johnson Court in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the north curb '.. line of West Spruce Street and the south curb line of West Cass Place. Liberty Place , South side,between the east curb line of North Second Avenue and the west curb line of North Fourth Avenue. Linden Street No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on Linden Street in the city: 1.On the north side of Linden Street between the west right of way line of North Fourth Avenue and the east right of way line of Lawrence Drive; 2. Between the hours of seven o'clock(7:00)A.M.and five o'clock(5:00)P.M. weekdays,from the west right of way line of Lawrence Drive and the east right of way line of North Main Street. 3.On the south side of Linden Street from the east right of way line of North Main Street to the west right of way line of North First Avenue. No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the north side of Linden Street between the west right of way line of North Fourth Avenue and the east right of way line of North First Avenue. North side,between the hours of eight o'clock(8:00)A.M.and five o'clock(5:00)P.M. On the north side or the south side of Linden Street in the city of Canton, Illinois. Linn Street Either side,between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. Maple Street North side,between the east curb line of Fifth Avenue and the west side of the alley(as extended)thereto easterly next adjacent for more than two(2)hours between the hours of six o'clock(6:00)A.M.and six o'clock(6:00)P.M.on any day. Martin Avenue Either the east or west side between West Maple and West Walnut Streets. West side, from the south curb line of West Pine Street to the north curb line of West Walnut Street for more than two(2)consecutive hours between the hours of eight o'clock(8:00)A.M.and five o'clock(5:00)P.M. (local time)on any day excepting of 5 Sundays and legal holidays. Myrtle Street South side, from North Main Street to the new Junior High School North Avenue A No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the west side of North Avenue A between the north curb line of West Locust and the south curb line of West Vine Street in the city. No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the east side of North Avenue A from north of the north line of West Olive Street to a point one hundred twenty two feet (122')north of the north line of West Olive Street,except for loading/unloading of passengers at said area. Parking of motor vehicle on the cast side of North Avenue A between the north curb line of West Locust Street and the south curb line of West Vine Street in the city is allowed in accordance with this code. Any person who violates this provision shall, upon conviction,be subject to a fine of not less than twenty five dollars($25.00)nor more than five hundred dollars($500.00)for each such violation. The east side of North Avenue A from the north curb line of West Olive Street to a point one hundred forty two feet(142')north of the north curb line of West Olive Street is hereby designated a no parking loading zone from seven o'clock(7:00)A.M.to five o'clock(5:00)P.M., local time, Monday through Friday of each calendar week, inclusive. No person shall park a vehicle or a motor vehicle along the aforesaid curb line during the aforesaid hours unless actually engaged in the loading or unloading of passengers and/or cargo. Parking in the aforesaid loading zone is permissible on Saturday and Sunday of each week and from five o'clock(5:00)P.M.to seven o'clock(7:00)A.M.on Monday through Friday of each week. Any person who violates any portion of this provision shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty five dollars($25.00)nor more than two hundred dollars($200.00)for each occurrence. West side,from West Locust Street to West Vine Street except for the unloading of goods or the discharging of passengers. North Avenue B Parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited on the west side of North Avenue B between West Elm Street and West Pine Street in the city. On the east side of the street in the 600 block of North Avenue B between Vine Street to Myrtle Street. North Avenue C On the east side of the street in the 200 block of North Avenue C. Parking on the west side of North Avenue C from the south right of way line of West Birch Street to the north right of way line of West Myrtle Street is hereby prohibited. North Eighth East side,from East Ash Street to the north corporation limits,except for the unloading 6 Avenue of goods or discharging of passengers. North Eleventh On the east side of the street in the 200-300 blocks of North Eleventh Avenue between Avenue Ash Street to Locust Street stating that from six o'clock(6:00)A.M.to six o'clock(6:00) P.M.on days when school is in session there shall be no parking,and that every driver of a motor vehicle will refrain from parking any vehicle under his or her control in said area. North Fifth East side,from East Locust Street to East Ash Street. Avenue North First On the west side of North First Avenue in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the north Avenue curb line of East Locust Street and the south curb line of East Sycamore Street. West side,between the south curb line of East Spruce Street to the north curb line of East Locust Street. North Fourth No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the east and west side of North Avenue Fourth Avenue between the north right of way line of East Birch Street and the north right of way line of Linden Street. North Main Either side,from Birch Street south to Locust Street,on Locust Street from Main Street Street East to Fifth Avenue,and on Fifth Avenue from East Locust Street to Linn Street except for the unloading of goods or the discharging of passengers. Either side, from Locust Street to Birch Street,except for an interval of no longer than ten(10)minutes for the purpose of unloading passengers or goods. On the east side or the west side of North Main Street in the city between the north curb line of Locust Street and the south curb line of Alder Street. West side,south of Locust Street for a distance ofone hundred seventy feet(170')south from the center of the intersection of Main and Locust Street. North Second No parking of any motor vehicles shall be permitted for more than two(2)consecutive Avenue hours on the east side of North Second Avenue in the city,between the north curb line of East Elm Street and the south curb line of East Chestnut Street. Parking on the east side of North Second Avenue from the south right of way line of East Locust Street to the north right of way line of East Chestnut Street shall be allowed between the hours of six o'clock(6:00)P.M. until six o'clock(6:00)A.M.(applicable local time)on any day. Parking on the west side of North Second Avenue from the south right of way line of East Locust Street to the north right of way line of East Elm Street shall be allowed There shall be no parking on the east side of North Second Avenue from the south right of way line of East Locust Street to the north right of way line of East Elm Street from six o'clock(6:00)A.M. until six o'clock(6:00)P.M.(applicable local time)of any day. North Sixteenth There shall be no parking on the east and west sides of North Sixteenth Avenue from the Avenue north right of way line of East Chestnut Street to the south right of way line of East Ash Street. North Sixth I'I East side,from East Chestnut Street to East Spruce Street,except for the unloading of 7 Avenue goods or discharging of passengers. North Tenth East side,from East Myrtle Street to the north corporation limits,except for the Avenue unloading of goods or discharging of passengers. North Third I East side,from East Elm Street to East Ash Street. Avenue North Twelfth East side, from East Ash Street to East Myrtle Street,except for the unloading of goods Avenue or discharging of passengers. Olive Street Either side, west of the west curb line of Avenue C in the city of Canton,Illinois. Park Court East side,between the south curb line of West Walnut Street and the north curb line of West Maple Street. West side,from the south curb line of West Walnut Street to the north curb line of West Maple Street. Sam Scott Street No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on both the north and south sides of Sam Scott Street in the city between the east right of way line of South Fourth Avenue and the west right of way line of South Fifth Avenue. Second Avenue East side,between the south curb line of Chestnut Street and a point on said Second Avenue one hundred six feet(106')south thereof at any time for more than thirty(30) continuous minutes and then only for the purpose of the conduction of business in the city building of said city thereto adjacent. West side of Second Avenue in said city between a point thereon located one hundred sixty eight feet(168)north of the north curb line of Locust Street to the south curb line of Myrtle Street in said city. Seventh Avenue West side,from the south curb line of East Birch Street to the north curb line of East Ash Street and from the south curb line of East Locust Street to the north curb line of Grant Place,excepting therefrom, however,that portion of said Seventh Avenue between East Walnut Street and East Pine Street. South Avenue A Parking in the 400 block of South Avenue A between the south right of way line of the Santa Fe Railroad right of way and the north right of way line of West Oak Street is prohibited on the west side of South Avenue A. South Avenue A No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted for more than two(2)consecutive and South hours at any one time between the hours of six o'clock(6:00)A.M.and six o'clock Avenue B (6:00)P.M.on the south side of West Maple Street in the city between the west curb line of South Avenue A and the east curb line of South Avenue B. South Avenue B Between the hours of six o'clock(6:00)A.M.and six o'clock(6:00)P.M.,on the west side of South Avenue B in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the south curb line of West Maple Street and the north curb line of West Hickory Street. East side,from the south curb line of West Maple Street to the north curb line of West Hickory Street. Either side,between the south curb line of West Walnut Street and the north curb line (as extended)of Mulberry Place. 8 No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on either the castor the west sides of South Avenue B between the south curb line of West Maple Street and the north curb line of West Hickory Street in the city except parking shall be permitted on the west side only of South Avenue B for a point fifty feet(50)south of the south right of way line of the Santa Fe main line as it presently intersects South Avenue B and the north right of way line of West Oak Street,and then shall only be permitted between the hours of six o'clock(6:00)P.M.and six o'clock(6:00)A.M.,local time. There shall be no parking on the east side of South Avenue B from the south right of way line of East Pine Street to a point sixty feet(60')south of the south right of way line of East Pine Street. West side,from Elm Street to Pine Street except for the unloading of goods or the discharging of passengers. South Fifth Parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited on South Fifth Avenue from East Linn Avenue Street to the corporate limits ofthe city. South Sixth No parking is allowed on the west side of South Sixth Avenue from Hickory to Cherry Avenue Street and said area is hereby declared to be a no parking zone. South First On the west side of the South First Avenue,one hundred feet(100')north of Hickory Avenue Street. South First Street On the west side of the street in the 700 block of South First Street. South Fourth East side, from the intersection of South Fourth Avenue and East Maple Street to a point Avenue one hundred seventy five feet(175')south of said intersection. East side, from the south curb line of East Elm Street to the north curb line of East Oak Street. On the east side or the west side of South Fourth Avenue in the city between the south curb line of East Elm Street and the north curb line of East Oak Street. Van Buren Court No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the east side of Van Buren Court in the city between the south curb line of Pine Street and a point sixty five feet(65') 9 southerly therefrom on the east curb line of Van Buren Court. On the west side of Van Buren Court in the city of Canton, Illinois,between the north curb line of East Pine Street and the south curb line of East Elm Street. Van Winkel No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the north side of Van Winkle Drive Drive in the city between the west curb line of Avenue F and the east curb line of Avenue H. The south side of the 700 block of Van Winkel Drive from the west right of way line of South Avenue G. West Ash Street North side,from North Avenue A to North Main Street,or on the south side of East Ash Street from North Main Street to the corporation line(except that portion of East Ash Street from North Fourth Avenue to Dean Court,where no person shall park a vehicle on either side of said street)for a longer interval than the actual loading or unloading of passengers or goods. West Birch On the south side of West Birch Street in the city between the west curb line of North Street Main Street and east curb line of North Avenue A. West Elm Street South side,from Avenue B east to Avenue A. West Hickory North side, from the west curb line of South Main Street to the east curb line of South Street Avenue B. West Locust Along West Locust Street as presently located within the city limits between a point one Street hundred twenty seven feet(12T)east of Avenue B to nine hundred four feet(904')west of Avenue D. Either side, from North Main Street to North Avenue B. Parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited from nine o'clock(9:00)A.M.to one o'clock(1:00)P.M.on the north side of West Locust Street,commonly known as"Old West Locust Street", from the 700 block through the 800 block,and through the 900 block of West Locust Street. West Maple From the west curb line of North Avenue B to the east curb line of Prospect Court. Street North side, form the west curb of Martin Avenue to a point one hundred eighty feet (180')west of the west curb of the Graham Hospital drive or entrance. West Spruce No parking of any motor vehicle shall be permitted on the north side of West Spruce Street Street from the east curb line of North Avenue A to a point one hundred twenty two feet (122')east of said east curb line of North Avenue A. South side,from the east curb line of North Avenue D to the west curb line of North Main Street. West Vine Street There shall be no parking on the north side of West Vine Street from a point sixty feet (60')west of the northwest curb line of Keeling Court,proceeding one hundred feet (100)west on West Vine Street. West Walnut North side,between the west curb line of South Avenue D to the bridge over Big Creek. Street Parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited by nonresidents on the north side of West Walnut Street for the first five hundred feet(500)west from Martin Avenue. Parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited by nonresidents(residents of the area involved shall be able to park in said area provided their vehicles display the designated decal)on the north side of West Walnut Street for three hundred fifty feet(350')cast of Martin Avenue.Any person who violates this provision shall,upon conviction or plea, be subject to a fine of not less than five dollars($5.00)nor more than twenty five dollars ($25.00)for each such offense. Parking is hereby eliminated and prohibited by nonresidents on the north side of West Walnut Street west from Martin Avenue to the east side of Robinson Court. South side, from Martin Avenue to South Avenue D except for the unloading of goods or the discharging of passengers. The residents of the areas designated in this provision shall display the residential decal or permit in each of their vehicles in order to park in the areas designated in this provision. West On the north side of West Walnut Street from a point two hundred six feet(206')west from Walnut the west right of way line of Martin Avenue to a point six hundred twenty six feet(626)west Street of the west right of way line of Martin Avenue is hereby allowed.The two(2)hour parking zone shall remain on West Walnut Street except as provided in this subsection. White On both sides of White Court,between the south curb line of Elm Street and the north curb Court line of Pine Street,for parallel parking heading in a southerly direction. No parking of any motor vehicle,other than by a handicapped driver,shall be permitted on the south side of East Elm Street,commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Third Avenue with the south curb line of Elm Street in the city;thence west sixty feet(60'),thence north twenty feet(20'),thence east to the centerline of Third Avenue extended,thence south to the point of beginning. Main One handicap parking sign shall be placed in the spot nearest Main Street in the alley running Street east-west from Main Street to White Court,south of East Elm Street(Legacy Christian Bookstore)and north of 23 South Main Street(Country Financial). South Two(2)handicapped parking spaces shall be placed on the west side of South First Avenue, First south of Hickory Street. Avenue The appropriate officials of the city shall post appropriate signs and make appropriate markings designating this area for parking by handicapped drivers and informing people of these regulations. PARKING AREA:That area provided for the use of motor vehicles in connection with the banking facility of said Community Bank And Trust Company,generally located at the address of 245 North Main Street in the city and on the following described realty: Lots 74,83 and 86 in Swans First Addition,also known as Old Town Addition,to the city of Canton,county of Fulton and state of Illinois; and which said realty is generally located on the east side of Main Street and between Locust and Spruce Streets in the city. 2. PARKING AREA:That area provided for the use of motor vehicles in connection with the Town&Country Insurance Agency, Ltd.,business and the business of Mid America Credit,Inc,said facilities being generally located at the address of 301 North Main Street in the city of Canton, Illinois on the following described realty: Lot number 71 in the original town of Canton, Illinois,except nineteen and three-tenths(19.3)feet off the north side of said lot,and the east sixty feet(60')of said lot. and which said realty is generally located on the east side of Main Street and between Spruce and Ash Streets in the city of Canton,Illinois. 2. It shall be unlawful for any person,not specifically authorized by said Town&Country Insurance Agency. (b)Between the hours of eight o'clock(8:00)A.M.on Sunday until eight o'clock(8:00)A.M.of each Monday thereafter succeeding;and (c)At any time during generally recognized holidays. 3. It shall be prima facie evidence that any person who parks a motor vehicle in or on said parking area during the periods herein prohibited is not authorized to do so and is not actively utilizing the facilities of Town&Country Insurance Agency, Ltd.,or Mid America Credit, Inc. 4.The police chief of this city shall cause appropriate signs to be posted informing persons of these regulations. 5.Any person who violates any of the provisions hereof shall be punished by fine of not less than five dollars($5.00) nor more than two hundred dollars($200.00)for each such violation.(Ord. 555,8-17-1976) (1)Ludlum Shopping Center Parking Restrictions: 17 1.The following words or phrases shall be construed and have the meanings or definitions set forth: PARK OR PARKING: The standing ofa motor vehicle,whether occupied or not,otherwise than when temporarily and actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise or passengers. PARKING AREA:That area provided for the use of motor vehicles in connection with Ludlum Shopping Center owned by Lumco, Inc.,a Delaware corporation and generally located at the address of 370 North Main Street in the city of Canton, Illinois,and on the following described realty: Lot 58 in the original town,sometimes referred to as Swan's Addition of the city of Canton;part of Lot 57 in the original town of Canton more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast comer of Lot 57;thence west 42'/,';thence North to the South line of west Ash Street; thence East 42'/2',thence South to the Point of Beginning;and the North 90'of Lot 63 of the original town, sometimes referred to as Swan's Addition of the city of Canton;and the East 50'of the North half of Lot 64 of the original town,sometimes referred to as Swan's Addition of the city of Canton,all located in the city of Canton, county of Fulton and state of Illinois. and which said realty is generally located on the west side of Main Street and between Ash and Spruce Streets in the city of Canton, Illinois. 2. It shall be unlawful for any person,not specifically authorized by Lattice, Inc.,or not actively utilizing the facilities of the retail and service shops located in Ludlum Center to park a motor vehicle at any place in or on said parking area during the following times: (a)Between the hours of eight o'clock(8:00)P.M.and eight o'clock(8:00)A.M.of each day commencing on each Monday through each day thereafter to each succeeding Saturday at eight o'clock(8:00)A.M.thereof,and (b)Between the hours of eight o'clock(8:00)P.M.on each and every Saturday until eight o'clock(8:00)A.M.of each Monday thereafter;and (c)At any time during generally recognized holidays. 3.Notwithstanding the foregoing paragraph,parking shall be allowed for customers of the Norge Laundry during the following times and upon the following conditions: (a)Monday through Sunday from five o'clock(5:00)A.M.until ten o'clock(10:00)P.M.; (b)Provided that the parking occurs within a designated parking area for Norge Laundry said designated parking area to be described with paint or other appropriate markings by Lumco;and (c)Further provided that the parking in this area shall only be during the period when the owner or user of said automobile is patronizing the Norge Laundry facility. 4. It shall be prima facie evidence that any person who parks a motor vehicle in or on said parking area during the periods herein prohibited is not authorized to do so and is not actively patronizing or utilizing the retail or service establishments of said Ludlum Center owned by Lumco, Inc. 5.The police chief of this city shall cause appropriate signs to be posted informing persons of these regulations. 6.Any person who violates any of the provisions hereof shall be punished by fine of not less than five dollars($5.00) nor more than two hundred dollars($200.00)for each such violation.(Ord.556,8-17-1976) 18 (1)Goodyear Store Parking Area Restrictions: I.The following words or phrases shall be construed and have the meanings or definitions set forth: PARK OR PARKING:The standing of a motor vehicle,whether occupied or not,otherwise than when temporarily and actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise or passengers. PARKING AREA:That area provided for the use of motor vehicles in connection with the retail business establishments known as the Goodyear Store and Bowman's Shoe Store, said premises being generally located at the address of 230 North Main Street in the city of Canton,Illinois,on the following described realty: A part of Lot number 82 in the original town of Canton,Fulton County, Illinois,described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast comer of said lot,conning thence North to the Northeast comer of said lot,thence West 143 feet,thence South to the South line of said lot and thence East 143 feet to the place of beginning, also A part of Lot 82 in the original town of Canton,described as follows: 38'/e feet off of the West end of Lot 82 also A part of Lot 87 in the original town of Canton,described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast comer of Lot 87,thence running South 25 feet to a point,thence West 93.5 feet to a point,thence South 1'/4 feet,thence West 88 feet,thence North 204 feet,thence East 18'/2 feet to the place of beginning.All of the property subject to the restrictions,covenants,conditions of records situated in the city of Canton,county of Fulton,state of Illinois. and which said realty is generally located on the west side of Main Street between Locust and Spruce Streets in the city of Canton, Illinois. 2. PARKING AREA:That area provided for the use of motor vehicles in connection with the businesses of Fulton County Association for the Handicapped Inc.,the Fulton County health department and the Chicken and the Sea Restaurant,said facilities being generally located at the address of 500 N. Main Street in the city of Canton,Illinois, 20 on the following described realty: Tract 1 Lots 1 and 2 in Block 1 in Smith&Johnson's Addition to the city of Canton,Fulton county, Illinois a.k.a. 500_502 N. Main Street and 165 W.Olive Street in the city of Canton, Illinois. Main Street in the city of Canton, Illinois,on the following described realty: A tract of land described as being a part of Lot 4,Block I in Smith and Johnson Addition to the city of Canton,and a pan of the Northeast Quarter of section 27 in Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast comer of said Lot 4 in Block I in Smith and Johnson's Addition to the city of Canton,at the Southwest comer of North Main and West Olive Streets,thence South 107 feet,thence West 95 feet,thence North 107 feet,thence East 95 feet to the place of beginning,all situated in the city of Canton, in the county of Fulton and state of Illinois. and which said realty is generally located on the west side of Main Street and the south side of Olive Street in the city of Canton,Illinois. 2. It shall be prima facie evidence that any person who parks a motor vehicle in or on said parking area during the periods herein prohibited is not authorized to do so and is not actively utilizing said business establishments. 6.
