H~t-EREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton has previously
adopted an ordinance providing for the placement of handicap
parking spaces throughout the City of Canton, Illinois; and
W-ERE.AS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary,
desirable and in the best interest of the City of Canton to adopt
a map outlining the placement of handicap parking spaces
throughout the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
NaIN, l~-EREFORE, BE 1 T RESOLVED BY TI-E CITY OOt~VC I L OF T't-E C I TY aF
CNYfQV, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. The Canton City Council previously adopted an ordinance
providing for the placement of handicap parking spaces throughout
the City of Canton.
2. A map outlining the placement of the handicap parking
spaces throughout the City of Canton, Illinois, hereby provided in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and herein incorporated by reference,
is hereby approved by the Canton City Council.
3. The Street Superintendent shall be provided with a copy
of the attached Exhibit "A" for the purpose of marking by means of
painting the appropriate spaces for handicap parking, in
accordance to the rules and regulations outlined by the State of
Illinois Department of Transportation.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
ten (10) days after its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval of the ti~ayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this ~_ day of
September 1992, upon a roll call vote as follows:
