W-EREAS, the Illinois Department of Commerce & Community
Affairs (DCCA) requires the passage of a resolution committing
municipalities to the use of certain leveraging funds in making
application for Community Development Assistance Program (CRAP)
grants; and,
w1-EREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois is desirous of making
an application for a CRAP grant in an amount not to exceed
$218,500.00.

CITY OF CAIV'fpV, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the city apply for a grant under the terms and
conditions of the State of Illinois and shall enter into and agree
to the understandings and assurances contained in said
application.

5. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approved by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 16th day of June, 1992,
upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Molleck, Sarff, Steck, Bohler, Meade, May.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Aldermen. Coat'. Aldern~z Barnett resigned.
