RESOLIITION N0. 3198
A RESOLIITION TO PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT OF TA%ES PER AGREEMENT WITH
HIDDEN TREASDRES, INC.
WHEREAS, on September 7, 1993 the City of Canton adopted an
ordinance approving a proposed agreement between the City and
Hidden Treasures, Inc. for the rehabilitation of the building at
102 E. Elm Street and known as Dahm Hall; and,
WHEREAS, said agreement provides for the payment by the
City, to bring taxes current; and,
WHEREAS, the rehabilitation agreement has now been signed
and the amount of each taxes has been determined to be $8,269.58;
WHEREAS, the funds for payment of the taxes shall be
obtained from the Tax Increment Fund on hand.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City Treasurer is directed to pay the sum of
$8,269.58 from the Tax Increment Fund to the Fulton County
Treasurer to satisfy all taxes to date.
2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor
thereof .
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 2nd day of
November, 1993, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Coay, Molleck, Phillips, Sarff, Meade, Bohler,
rr~.y.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Chapman..
