A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS FORA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT
APPLICATION FOR A PUBLIC FACILITIES GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Canton is applying to the State of
Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs (DCCA),
under the Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP) for a
grant for public facilities improvements; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that agreements be entered into for
the application to the Illinois Department of Commerce and
Community Affairs (DCCA).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City of Canton is desirous of applying for a
grant under the terms and conditions of the State of Illinois and
shall enter onto and agree to the understandings and assurances
contained in said agreement.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk on behalf of the City of
Canton execute and deliver such documents necessary to receive
said grant.
3. That the Mayor and City CLerk are authorized to provide
such additional information as may be required to accomplish the
obtaining of such grant.
4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approved by the Mayor thereof.

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 6th day of September,
1994, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: ~-~ Aleck, Phillips, Sa.rff, Meade, Chapman.
NAYS: None,
ABSENT: Aldermen Coay, Bohler, May,
