RESOLUTION N0. _
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFIC SALARIES FOR THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENT
HEADS, SUPERINTENDENTS, FtTLL-TIME APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEF,S AND PART-TI1KE
APPOINTIVE ENII'LOYEES OF THE CITY OF CANTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has
determined that it is necessary, desirable and to the best interests of
the City of Canton to set specific salaries for the various Department
Heads, Superintendents, full-time appointive employees and part-time
appointive employees of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has
reviewed the proposed salary for said full-time appointive employees
and part-time appointive employees of the City of Canton, said salaries
being set forth in Exhibit A which is hereto attached and herein
incorporated by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the salaries for the various department heads,
superintendents, full-time appointive employees and part-time
appointive employees of the City of Canton, Illinois, said salaries
being set forth in Exhibit A hereto attached and herein incorporated by
reference, are hereby appoved. Said salaries are to be effective as of
and retroactive to and inclusive of date of May 1, 1994• Further, that
said salaries are in addition to other emoluments and entitlements
normally and customarily extended to each such employee.

2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by 'the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
and APPROVED by the Mayor thereof this 17th day of May, 1994•
