BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Canton, that the
Central Illinois Public Service Company be, and hereby is requested
to furnish the City, for a period of thirty days, from Deoember tenth,
1934, to January tenth, 1955, the following additional service:
Twenty-nine (89) Ornamental Street Lamps at $8.33
par leap per month, for a total sum of Sixty-Seven
and 57/100 Dollars ($67.57), numbered as follows:

WHEREAS, The City of Canton is indebted to Sutton & Moore ,
and Ileckard, Contractors in the sum of $67,207.37 , under date
Of Sept. 1st, 1934 covering the following:
Paving Vouchers due Sept. 1 , 1934 $48 ,847.70
Paving Vouchers not due 12,565 .00
Total Vouchers held by contractors----$62, 412.70
Interest due Sept. 1, 1934---$4,695. 64
Interest due on interest--- 99. 03 4 ,794. 67
Total amount due to contractors 67 ,207.37
AND WHEREAS, None of the principal and only part of the interest
has been paid for several years, and an effort is now being made
to pay both interest and principal partially:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT Til[ SOLVED BY THE CITY COUYCIL GF THE CITY

OF CANTON, That the Council hereby authorize the City Treasurer
Interest
to transfer the sum of : .1-eceee *0 from the Fund. to the
Public Benefit Tax Fund in order to complete the payment to the
Voucher holders .
