Whereas, the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois,
has heretofore made application to the Federal Govenment
through the P. W. A. Administration, for a grant and loan
for the construction of a sewerage disposal or treatment
plant; And , whereas, it appears that it is possible for
the City to obtain said loan privat,elyr without the aid
of the Federal Government.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
That said application heretofore filed with the P. W. A.
Administration be and the same hereby is amended so as to ex-
clude the request therein contained for any loan from said
P. W. A. ; and by adding thereto the statment that said
loan will be secured privately; and, the City Clerk is here-
by directed to file copies of this resolution with the
P. W. A.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR THIS
QDAY OF JULY, L1936.
