WHEREAS, there are not sufficient funds in
the Firemen's aaintaince fund to meet the ordinary expenses
of this department and WHEREAS, there are more than Bud-
ficent funds in the Water "ent Fund to sufficiently operate
this department;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SAID CITY OF
CANTON: That there be and the City Treasurer is hereby
directed to transfer five hundred dollars ($500.00) fro*
the said dater "evenue Fund over to the Fireman's Maintain-
ance Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE SAID CITY OF
CANTON: That this amount be subsequently returned to the
said Water evenue Fund from the Firemen' s Akaintainanoe

Fund.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the
Mayor, this third (3rd) day of February A. D. 1942.
