BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Canton , Illinois, that the Central
Illinois Public Service Company be and hereby is requested to fur-
,
nish the City o f Canton , Illinois, until further
notice from the City o f Canton , the following
service:
1 - 250 C.P., dusk to dawn burning street light, located at the corner
of Eighth Avenue and Custer Place.
The additional service hereinabove referred to is requested
pursuant to the provisions of that certain written agreement here-
tofore entered into between said Company and Municipality under
date of February , 19 38
Passed this 2nd day of September , 19 41

RESOLUTION
1HEREAS, The Department of Public Works and Buildings, Div-
ision of Highways, of the State of Illinois, has submitted to the
City of Canton, Illinois, an Agreement for Maintenance of City
Streets, which said agreement is hereto attached and made a part
of this resolution; and whereas, it is considered to the best
interests of said city that said agreement be executed for andon
behalf of said city:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk of said City are hereb. author-
ized and instructed, for and on behalf of said city, to execute
said agreement.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 2nd
day of September, A. D. 1941.

Dear Madam=
I am forwarding four copies of Agreement for
Maintenance of City Streets, together with Computation
Sheet and Summary Sheet for the various routes in your
city.
Will you please have all four copies of this
agreement executed on the part of the mayor or president
and witnessed by the city clerk? It will also be
necessary that the certification on the reverse side
of the agreement be completely filled out and sealed
with the seal of the city.
All copies of the agreement, computation sheet
and summary sheet should then be returned to this office
in order that they may be approved by the heads of the
Department. Will you please arrange to return these
agreements as soon as possible in order that a completely
approved copy can be returned to you in the near future?
