WHEREAS, the City of Canton has actuired certain acerage in
connection with the new ':cater works Project the further retention of
which is no longer necessary or adviseable for the City; and, khereas,
it is deemed to the best interests of the saf, City that said acerage be
disposed of as soon as >oseible; anti, Whereas, it is thought that any
arranements for the sale of saiu actorat;e can best be handled by the
Mayor and Public Grounds and. Building Committee of the saiu City;
THERI, OBE BE IT IE:iOLVED BY THE CITY C .OUNCIL OF THE CITY O ' CANTON:
That the Mayor ano Public Grs:unas ano Buil: ing Committee of the
City of Canton be authorized and directed to take such action as shall
exoedite the sale of such acera.e to the best interests of said City;
that they are hereby cru„ o; er ed to employ any at ent or agents in connection
lith such sale ano to arrange, so far arr, legally possible, for the sale
and conveyance of any or all of such acerace.
That the acerage herein referred to is that acerage as shorn by aplat of the
premises hereinbefore prepared by the Engineers of saiu City ana now on
file with the Clerk of said Ciy.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON AND APPROVED BY THE
MAYOR THIS 4th. DAY OF DEC aYIBs I , 13 .
