RBSOIUTION NO,

Whe*eas, Samuel E. Caldwell, has heretofore tendered to the City
Council of the City of Canton, Illinois , his resignation as City
Treasurer of said City effective the first day of May, 1939, and , where..
as said resignation was duly accepted by said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the second day of May 1939, and , whereas, it is
desirable that his bond as said treasurer be terminated and his sureties
thereon be notified of the termination thereof;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
That the official bond heretofore given by Samuel E. Caldwell, as
City Treasurer of the City of Canton, Illinois be and the same here by
is terminated .
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to notify the
surety or sureties upon said bond of the resignation of said Treasurer
and the termination of said bond by furnishing to said surety or sureties
a certified copy of this resolution.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON AND APPROVED BY
THE MAYOR THIS SIXTEENTH DAY OF MAY 1939.
