TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS ON WATER-
WORKS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois has issued bonds for
the construction of certain waterworks improvements, and 1
WHEREAS, Plans and specifications have been prepared for said
improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has obtained option on certain
tracts of land for reservoir and dam site,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Attorney and
Engineer be instructed to prepare deeds for certain tracts of land to
be purchased and that the Engineer proceed to advertise for bids, said
bids to be received on October l$, 1938 at 8 o 'clock P. M. (CST) for
equipment and services designated as the sponsor's share on the water-
works project,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Engineer be instructed to
forward such plans and specifications to the W. P. A. as required by
them.
PASSED this 20th day of September, 1938.
