This is to certify that at a duly called meeting of the Retire-
ment Board of the Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund of (3) City of Canton
held on (4) June 6, , 144 a quorum being present, the follow-
ing resolution was unanimously adopteds
RESOLVEDi That pursuant to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of Illinois, approved and in force July 31, 1943, enti-
tled "An Act to provide for the creation, setting apart, maintenance and
administration of a firemen's annuity and benefit fund in cities, town-
ships, villages and incorporated towns having a population of not less
than ten thousand nor more than one hundred thousand inhabitants," the
retirement board of the Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund of the City of
(5) Canton , hereby certifies to the
(6) City Council of the
City of (7) Canton that the amount of tax to be levied in the
year 1944 for the purpose_gf providing revenue for the Firemen's Annuity
and Benefit Fund of (8) Canton, Illinois (9) Fifteen Hundred
dollars ($ 1500.00 ).
AND BZ IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Secretary
be instructed to submit immediately a copy of said resolution to the said
(6) City Council
We hereby certify that the amount set forth in the above and
foregoing resolution is necessary and the amount that is to be levied in
the year 1344 for the purpose of providing revenue for the Firemen's An-
nuity and Benefit Fund of (10) City of Canton .
We hereby certify that the above is a full, true, and correct
copy of the resolution adopted by the Retirement Board of the Firemen's
Annuity and Benefit Fund of (11) City of Canto$t its meeting held'
(12) June 6, 1944. •
