WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois, and the County
of Fulton, Illinois, are the owners of the following described
real estate, which title they acquired pursuant to a foreclosure
sale for general taxes and special assessments:
Lot Numbered Nine (9) in Underwood and
Dean's Sedond (2nd) Addition to the City
of Canton, County cf Fulton, State of
Illinois.
AND WHERAS, it now appears that one Robert Rockhold has
ofrerred the City of Canton as a nurchase price for said nroperty
the amount of thettlAtt said sale plus legal interest thereon.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby
authorized and empowered to sell and convey, execute and deliver
a good and sufficient quit claim deed to the said Robert Rockhold
to the real estate above described provided that he pay to the City
as consideration the amount or the money bid for said property plus
legal interest thereon.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
