ORDINANCE APPROVING TRANSFER OF FU],-DS
WHEREAS, in the normal course of events there is an
inadequate amount of funds in the "GENERAL FUND" of the
City of Canton, a Municipal Corporation of the State of
Illinois, to cover current operating expenses; and
WHEREAS, there is a large surplus in the "PARKING METER
FUND" of the said Municipal Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved and ordained that
the duly appointed Treasurer of said Municipal Corporation
be directed to transfer immediately, the sum of FIVE THOU-
SAND DOLLARS ( fi5,000.00) , from said Parking Meter Fund to
said General Fund.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illi-
nois, and approved by the Mayor, this day of May,
