RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, There are in existence within the corporate
limits of the City of Canton at this time certain delinquent water
and sewer tap accounts and whereas, the interest on these accounts
has been accruing to such a point as to practically preclude payment
of the said accounts, now therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Canton that the interest on the said delinquent water and sewer tap
fees should be stopped from running after the expiration of a period
of ten years and that all water and sewer tap fees which are over ten
years old will be billed at the principal amount plus ten years
interest on the same.
