WHEREAS, the premises hereinafter described, which were
heretofore acquired as a part of the land required in connection
with the waterworks reservoir, are not used by the City of Canton,
Illinois;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, That the Mayor of said City be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said
City a renewal of the said Lease, attached hereto and made a part
of this Resolution, extending the attached Lease for the term of
one year, from March 1st, 1951 to March 1st, 1952, to Orval Kuhn
under the conditions and terms therein set forth, with the exception
that if the said lessee shall voluntarily or involuntarily cease
to be a City waterworks employee, then the parties agree that
the Lease shall be terminated and ended 90 days after the date of
the cessation of employment as aforesaid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, That all prior Resolution in conflict with
this Resolution be, and the same are hereby repealed.
