WHEREAS, Cahtdtt Park District, of the Township of Canton,
County of Fulton and State of Illinois, is the holder of title to
Lot 58, Maplehurst Homes, as platted, subject to there being main-
tained upon s#► dd lot an appropriate way of travel for the benefit
of adjoining lots; and
WHEREAS, said lot has heretofore been opened to public use
as a highway for the benefit of the public and adjoining lots, and
is now so used; and
WHEREAS, the territory comprising Maplehurst Homes has here-
tofore been annexed to and become a part of the City of Canton, and
said highway comprising said Lot 58 has become a public street of
said City of Canton; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Canton Park
District, that Canton Park District convey and dedicate to the City
of Canton, in the County of Fulton and State of Illinois, Lot 58 in
Maplehurst Homes, for the perpetual use of said city as a public
street for the use and benefit of the public, as well as for the
use and benefit of the adjoining lots and of Canton Park District;
and be it further
RESOLVED, that the President and Secretary of this Board be,
and they are hereby, authorised and directed to parry out this
resolution by exeo *ting in the name of Canton Park District, an
appropriate instrument conveying and dedicating said Lot 58 to the
City of Canton, to be used perpetually as a public street,
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Canton Park District
this 24th day of October, 1955.
