GRANT DAVIS departed this Life on the fourth day of May in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-nine; AND WHEREAS, J. Grant Davis for many years was Mayor of the City of Canton, Illinois; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS: That the Mayor, Aldermen, officers and employees of the City of Canton extend their heartfelt sympathy to the family of the late J. Grant Davis; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Dopy of this Resolution be sent the family of the late J. Grant Davis. Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this sixth day of December A. D. 1949. APPROVED: G. MAYOR ATTEST: CITY CLERK RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, OTIS K. RUMMELL departed this Life on the second day of November in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-nine; AND WHEREAS, Otis K. Rummell for many years was an Alderman of the City of Canton, Illinois; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS: That the Mayor, Aldermen, officers and employees of the City of Canton extend their heartfelt sympathy to the family of the Late Otis K. Rummell; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be sent to the family of the said Otis K. Rummell.
