WHEREAS, under the terms and provisions of the will of the
of the late Charles D. Ingersoll there was given to the City
of Canton, Illinois, money to erect a new Library Building,
which will be constructed.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTCN, ILLINOIS:
That the said Council does hereby very happily accept
the said building and authorize any corporate authorities or
officials of said City who may be so required by law to exe-
cute on behalf of said City, any and all instruments in writing.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
2nd day of October A. D. 1956.
