AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE. 1510 OF THE CANTON
MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1510 pertaining to
Loitering; and,
WHEREAS, the same appears as Chapter 19 of Title 6 of the Canton Municipal
Code; and,
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the City, based upon the lack
of support, has recommended that said ordinance be repealed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Chapter 19 of Title 6 of the Canton Municipal Code be and the same is
hereby repealed.
2. The repeal shall be effective upon passage by a majority vote of the City
Council and approved by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approved by the
