ORDINANCE NO. ~ hn,1
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION
OF A BEAUTY SHOP AT 459 WEST LOCUST ST. FOR SANDRA G. FORESTA.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits at 459 West
Locust St.
WHEREAS, a Petition for a Home Occupation Permit was filed by the petitioner and
notice thereof was published within said City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of
Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held before the Planning
and ZoningCommission of the City of Canton, Illinois on November 9, 1998 pursuant to notice;
and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commission did thereupon
recommend to the Canton City Council that said Home Occupation Permit be issued for the
operation of a Beauty Shop by Sandra G. Foresta at 459 West Locust St.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
That the Ciy Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby finds
the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a Home Occupation Permit for the operation of a Beauty shop issue to, and
the same hereby is issued to Sandra G. Foresta at 459 West Locust St., Canton,Illinoisaflecting
real property described as follows, to-wit:
Lot Number One (1) and Lot Number (2) in Luker Subdivision, situated in
the City of Canton, County of Fulton, and the State of Illinois.
That this Home Occupation is personal to Sandra G. Foresta at the above stated
address only for a term of two years from the date hereof; any cessation of such use shall
automatically terminate said Home Occupation Permit: such Home Occupation Permit is not
transferarrable or valid at any other address or affecting any other property.
4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps and related
regulations be, and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing Home Occupation
Permit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular
meeting this 17th day of NovemUer , 1998 under a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Hartford, Nblleck, Phillips, Sarff, Meade, Nidiffer,
May, Shores,
NAYS: None.
