ORDINANCE NO. 1601
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR THE
OPERATION OF A NAILS ONLY SHOP (MANICURE, PEDICURE AND
ACRYLIC NAILS) AT 1944 EAST CHESTNUT STREET, CANTON, ILLINOIS
FOR JOHN AND TINA FIDLER.
WHEREAS, it appeazs to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits at 1944
East Chestnut, Street;
WHEREAS, a Petition for a Home Occupation Permit was filed by the petitioner and
notice thereof was published within said City and County, all in accordance with the
Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public heazing concerning such petition was held before the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois on November 9, 1998 pursuant to
notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeazed at said heazing and said Commission did
thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that said Home Occupation Permit be
issued for the operation of a manicure, pedicure and acrylic nails Shop by John and Tina
Fidler at 1944 East Chestnut Street, Canton, Illinois.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby finds the
foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a Home Occupation Permit for the operation of a manicure, pedicure and
acrylic nails Shop issue to, and the same hereby is issued to John and Tina Fidler at 1944
East Chestnut Street, Canton, Illinois affecting real property described as follows, to-wit:
Lot Fifteen (15) of W. V. Young Subdivision, City of Canton, County of Fulton,
State of Illinois.
3. That this Home Occupation is personal to John and Tina Fidler at the above stated
address only for a term of two yeazs from the date hereof; any cessation of such use shall
automatically terminate said Home Occupation Permit; such Home Occupation Permit is
not transferrable or valid at any other address or affecting any other property.
4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps and related
regulations be, and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing Home
Occupation Permit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular
meeting this 17th day of November , 1998 under a roll call vote as follows:
