AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION/SPECIAL USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW A Pet Grooming Business to operate out of garage at
165 West Tamarack, CANTON, ILLINOIS, CURRENTLY ZONED R-2.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory herein described is located within the corporate limits of
the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by Sherry Crumley McCoy owner of the
property to the Joint Planning and Zoning Commission of said City requesting a
Home Occupation/ Special Use; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said commission did
thereupon make favorable findings of fact and did recommend to the Canton City
Council that said Home Occupation/Special Use permit to allow a pet grooming
business at property located at 165 West Tamarack,Canton, Illinois 61520.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS,AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby
finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a Home Occupation/ Special Use Permit to allow a Pet Grooming Facility
at the property currently zoned R-2 located at 165 West Tamarack, Canton,
Illinois, affecting real property being legally described as follows:
Sect/Lot; 01 Crumley Sub-
3. That the City Council of the City of Canton, County of Fulton, Illinois, hereby
finds the facts of the aforegoing recitals to be fact.
4. That a Home Occupation Special Use permit be granted for Sherry Crumley
McCoy at 165 West Tamarack, Canton, Illinois as described herein shall be, and
the same is hereby issued to Sherry Crumley McCoy, owner of property.
5. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriated documents, maps and
related regulations be and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing
special use permit granted herein.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton,Fulton County, Illinois,at a regular meeting
this 21 thdayJ of MARCH 2018 upon a roll call vote as follows:
