AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SIDEWALK ON THE WEST SIDE OF
THE 100 BLOCK OF NORTH SECOND AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee has determined that it is
necessary and in the best interest of the citizens of Canton, Illinois to replace a sidewalk
on the West side of the 100 block of North Second Avenue, City of Canton, Illinois; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCII. OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That a replacement sidewalk shall be placed on the West side of the 100 block
of North Second Avenue, City of Canton, Illinois.
2. That construction of said sidewalk shall be in accordance with all Ordmances of
the City of Canton, including awarding of contract.
3. That said sidewalk will be totally within TIF District #1.
4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, approval by the
Mayor thereof, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a
regular meeting this ?nr~ day of n_.___;____Pmhpr 1997, upon a roll call vote as
follows:
AYES• Aldermen Hartford, Phillips, Sarff, Meade,
• Nidiffer, Shores.
NAYS: None .
ABSENT: Aldermen Molleck, May.
