NEGOTIATIONS, GRIEVANCE AND PERSONNEL

MEET WITH AGGRIEVED EMPLOYEES OF AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE COUNTY AND
MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO COUNCIL 31/LOCAL NO 1372 (AFSCMEI AND/OR THEIR
PERSONNEL REPRESENTATIVES PURSUANT TO PROVISIONS OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENT PERTAINING TO THE SETTLEMENT OF GRIEVANCES
Alderman Jump explained that the committee met with the aggrieved employees in the
executive session meeting held today.
DISCUSS, CONSIDER AND PROVIDE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE COUNCIL ON A GRIEVANCE
BY AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO
COUNCIL 31/LOCAL NO 1372 (AFSCMEI
Alderman Jump explained that the two grievances were discussed on behalf of Mr. Bugos and
Mr. Troubaugh. The Committee would need to make a recommendation to the Council for a
vote.
Motion and second were made by Aldermen lump/West to make the recommendation to
Council to ask the City Attorney to issue a letter on behalf of the Negotiations, Grievance and
Personnel Committee denying the grievances filed by those employees.
