HomeMy WebLinkAbout#5115 Tom Shubert RESOLUTION NO. 5115 A RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE FOR LONGEVITY PAY FOR TOM SHUBERT WHEREAS, Officers of the Police and Fire Departments are eligible for a longevity pay step after 20 years of service, and upon written notice may be approved and moved to the last longevity pay step. WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to make a similar provision for the incumbent Fire Chief, Tom Shubert; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows: Tom Shubert, upon written notice to the Mayor, shall receive a $7,500.00 longevity pay step. This will be prorated to determine the monthly equivalent to compute all pension contributions and benefits. 1. This is exclusive of all other pay raises, such as annual percentage raises. 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
