WHEREAS, Bob Ems has been an administrator for the Canton
District for the past 36 years; and,
WHEREAS, Bob is retiring and a reception will be held at
ce Park on Saturday, April 8, 1995 from 1 - 4 o'clock P.M.;
WHEREAS, the Canton area has benefited greatly under the
leadership of Bob Ems; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton Park District is one of the finest in
the State; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council wishes to recognize Bob
Ema.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That Saturday, April 8, 1995 is hereby declared "Bob Ems
Day".
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said Resolution on behalf of the
City of Canton, Illinois.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 5th day of April, 1995,
upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Chapman., May, Bohler, Meade, Sarff, Molleck, Coay.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Phillips.
