RESOLUTION N0. 3322
A RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF THE FIRST AND FINAL PLAT OF
LILLIE SUBDIVISION BEING SITUATED OUTSIDE THE CITY OF CANTON,
LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 30, ORION
TOWNSHIP, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Canton has determined, upon review at a meeting held on
April 8, 1996, that the First and Final Plat of Lillie
Subdivision was appropriate, provided that an easement for a
water line to the lots be furnished. Further, the Planning
and Zoning Commission recommended that the City of Canton
approve the First and Final Plat of Lillie Subdivision.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed
the plat which now includes an easement for a water line and
has received representations that the subdivision is
acceptable to the Fulton County Health Department, the Fulton
County Highway Department and the Road Commissioner of Orion
Township.
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the First and Final Plat of Lillie Subdivision
be approved;
2. That Donald E. Edwards, Mayor, and Nancy Whites,
City Clerk, be authorized to sign said plat.
3. That, prior to any individual lots obtaining access
to water from the City of Canton, the lot owner will be
required to sign a pre-annexation agreement;
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council of
the City of Canton, Illinois.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois, at a regular meeting this 7th day of May,
1996, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen-May, Shores, Meade, Nidiffer, Sarff,
Hartford, Molleck.
NAYS: None,
ASSENT: Alderman Phillips.
