A RESOLUTION TO AMEND DIVISION 4, SECTION 4.4 OF TSE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CANTON AND AFSCME LOCAL 759
PERTAINING TO COMPENSATION FOR MAINTENANCE OF T88 DOG AND
KENNEL SY THE K-9 OFFICER.
WHEREAS, the basic agreement between the City of Canton
and AFSCME Local 759 with regard to compensation for the
maintenance of the dog and kennel by the K-9 Officer
provides for compensation to be paid on the first pay week
of May, September and January, and
WHEREAS, it has been requested to change the dates to
the first pay week of August, December and April, and
WHEREAS, the basic agreement shall otherwise remain
unchanged.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That Division 4, Section 4.4 of the agreement
between the City and AFSCME Local 759 shall be amended to
change the pay dates for compensation for maintenance of
the dog and kennel by the K-9 Officer from the first pay
week of May, September, and January, to the first pay week
of August, December, and April.
2. In all other respects the agreement shall remain
unchanged.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Canton, Illinois are hereby authorized and directed to
execute and deliver said amendment on behalf of the City of
Canton.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council of
the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by
the Mayor thereof.

County, Illinois, at a regular meeting this 16th day of
December, 1997, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYRS: Aldermen Hartford, Molleck, Phillips, Sarff, Meade,
Nidiffer, May.
NAYS: None.
ABSI3NT: Alderman Shores.
