APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
Mayor Jeffrey Fritz asked for motion to approve the minutes from the June 30, 2015 liquor
commission meeting.
Motion and second were made by Commissioner Manock/Freeman to approve the minutes of
the June 30, 2015 Liquor Control Commission meetings.
Motion carried.
DISCUSS CONSIDER AND VOTE ON A CLASS B SUPPER CLUB LICENSE FOR NEWBURN
ENTERPRISES D/B/A AMERICAN GRILLE
An application was submitted for a Class B supper club license for Newburn Enterprises D/B/A
American Grille. Kim Newburn explained that she is building a banquet facility in the existing
building where the chiropractor was previously located. The business will offer catering and a
Sunday brunch from 10:OOam-2:OOpm. The liquor license would be used for various events
including wedding parties. A certificate of insurance is on file along with a check for their bond.
Mayor Fritz said that since they have two different rooms in one building they would still be
allowed to serve liquor in both areas.
Motion and second were made by Commissioner Freeman/Manock to approve the request for
a Class B supper club license.

Motion and second were made by Commissioner Manock/Freeman to adjourn.
The motion carried.

The Liquor Control Commission of the City of Canton hereby gives notice of a meeting to be
held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the City Hall Director's Room, 2 North Main
Street, Canton, Illinois. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss, consider and vote on a
Special Event License for Wee-Ma-Tuk Partners, Inc.
