CITY OF CANTON
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
JULY 6,2004 @6:00 P.M.
A Public Hearing was held on July 6, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers,
Historic Depot, 50 North 4t'Avenue, Canton,Illinois.
In attendance was Nancy Whites, City Clerk; Julie Smick, Budget Administrator;
Alderman Jim Hartford; Joe Ginger, Video Service for the City of Canton.
City Clerk Nancy Whites opened the meeting at 6:00 P.M.
City Clerk Nancy Whites read the following legal notice. All interested citizens may
attend the public hearing and shall have the right to provide oral and written comments
on the Proposed Appropriation ordinance. All interested citizens will be given an
opportunity to be heard at the meeting.
Subsequent to the public hearing and before the final action is taken on the proposed
appropriation ordinance, the corporate authorities of the City of Canton, may revise,
alter, increase or decrease the items contained in said appropriation ordinance.
The Legal Notice was advertised in the Daily Ledger on June 21, 2004, making today the
15 day notice of publication by law.
