Canton City Council held a Special Council meeting; called by Hajor Tiobert Jennings
on June 27,, 1969 in the City Council Chamber, Mayor Jennings called the meeting
to order at 8:02 P. M. Present for Roll Call: Alderman Rupe, Svob, Parr, Senich,
Hurst Lon-'-3 Edtirards, Kroell, Williams, Yerbic, Spencer, George and Preece.
Absent: Alderman Howard. City Treasurer Carl Hill was in attendance.
Pledge of A .l.egiance was followed by Prayer by Alderman Long.
Purpose o-- the Pleetinn announced �)y Mayor Jennings.

Harvester read.. Discussion. Alderman Long moves, Alderman George seconds
motion to quapend the rules. Roll call vote: AY'L�: Alderman Preece, C',eorge,

and' Rune. NAY: ;'one. Alderman Long moves, Al,,:er;na-) George seconds motion
to place this Pesolution on its passage. Roll Call vote: AYE: Alderman rune,

Mayor Jennings read Letter that will be presented with the Resolution to 1drlc,6a
Hagerman of Internal onal Harvester Company at the dinner ruesaa , July 1, _ .
Mayor Jennings announced that the Internat i-onal Harvester flag will be flotni
in Jones Park through July 11 1969.
