AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR THE
OPERATION FOR THE SELLING OF WOOD CRAFTS AND PERSONAL
PROPERTY FOR JEANNETTE A. RUTHERFORD AND SUSAN M. BERRY
FOR THE ADDRESS OF 214 WEST CHESTNUT STREET, CANTON,
ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, that the territory
hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits
of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition for a home occupation permit was
duly filed by the Petitioner and due and proper notice
was published within said City and County, all in accordance
with the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances
of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning said Petition
was held before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Canton, Illinois, on the 20th day of July, 1992,
pursuant to notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and
said commission did thereupon recommend to the Canton City
Council that said home occupation for the operation of
selling wood crafts and personal property at 214 West
Chestnut Street be allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois, hereby finds the foregoing recitals to
be fact.
2. That a home occupation permit for the operation
of a wood crafts and personal property be issued to,
Jeannette A. Rutherford and Susan M. Berry at the address
of 214 West Chestnut Street, Canton, Illinois, affecting
real property being legally described on Exhibit A, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
3. That this home occupation is personal to Jeannette
A. Rutherford and Susan M. Berry at the above stated address
only. That any cessation of such by Jeannette A. Rutherford
and Susan M. Berry or their moving or removal from said
address shall automatically terminate said permit. That,
further, such home occupation permit is not transferrable
or valid at any other address or affecting any other
property.
4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate
documents, maps and related regulations be, and the same
hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing home occupation
permit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton County, Illinois, at a regular meeting this nth day

AYES: Aldermen Molleck, Coay, Sarff, Steck, Bohler, Chapman,
May.

Beginning 77 feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot 21
in French's Addition, thence South 62 feet; thence West
15 feet; thence South 48 feet; thence West 74 feet; thence
North 110 feet; thence East 89 feet to the point of
beginning; to the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
