ORDINANCE NO.~~h
AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF CANTON,
FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS OF WILLIAM C. PATTERSON OF 752 WEST
WALNUT, CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Clerk for the
rezoning of the real property described below, and said real
property is within the corporate limits of the City of Canton,
Illinois.
Lot Nine (9) and Ten (10) in Babcock's Quality Hill
First Addition to the City of Canton, State of
Illinois.
WHEREAS, a public hearing on said petition was conducted
by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton
on January 13, 1992 pursuant to the proper notice having been
published in the Daily Ledger,
WHEREAS, on January 13, 1992 the Planning and Zoning
Commission recommended to the City Council that the real
property described in the attached exhibit hereto be rezoned
in the City of Canton pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Illinois
Revised Statutes,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Canton,
Illinois that said real property be rezoned in the City of
Canton.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
1. That the City Council finds as facts the assertions
set forth above.
2. That the described real property be and is hereby
rezoned as follows: Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10) R-3, Two Family
Residential.
3. That the Zoning Administrator is directed to make the
appropriate changes to the zoning maps of the City of Canton
to show this rezoning.
4. That the City Clerk is directed to record with the
Recorder of Deeds of Fulton County and to file with the County
Clerk of Fulton County a certified copy of this ordinance.
5. That the ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton and
approval by its Mayor.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 13th day of
February , 1992, upon roll call vote as
follows:
AYES: Aldernien May, Barnett, Meade, Bohler, Steck, Sarff, Molleck.
NAYES : Nye,
