' It was moved by Alderman Smith, seconded by Xlderman Cook, the Street Uommittee be authorized to use their own judgment, as to the number of street corners that can be corrected with the funds available. 4� Request of the Chamber of L;emmerce to have permission from the council to put up Christman street lights and Santa House in Jones park, was on motion of Alderman ' Coleman, seconded by Alderman %Jmith, granted. Reports of Alberta Saylor, census taker of Park Plaza Addition and William S Wright, census taker of S. Ave. B and Cedar St. Addition was submitted and on ax motion of Alderman Miller, seconded by Alderman Smith, accepted and ordered placed on file. Resolution for 23 additional Street lights requested of the C. I. P. was on motion of Alderman Sebree, seconded by Alderman Tibk, adopted bythe following' vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, '- 'oleman, Turner, Staley, Cook and Hill. NNT:None. Proposal to furnish maintenance and repair service fcr Cathodic Protection i on the water tank for the sum of $98.00 per year, was submitted. It was moved by Alderman Staley, seconded by Alderman Hill, the Mayor and City Clerk enter into agree- ment with the Electro-Rust Profing Co. of N. J. for this service. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, Coleman, Turner, Staley, `'ook and Hill. NAY: None. Alderman Coleman is excused. Ordinance "Annexation-South side of East Beech Street" was read the first time. It was moved by Alderman Sebree, seconded by Alderman Smith, to suspend the rules and the motion carried b„• the following vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, urner, Staley, ook, and Hill. NAY: None. The chair declared the motion carried.' It was`moved by Alderman Smith, seconded by Alderman Cook, to place the Ordinance on its passage. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, Turner, Staley, Cook and Hill. The chair declared the motion carried and Ordinance passed, being Ordinance No.298. Ordinance. "Annexation of part of S.W. Quarter of Sec. 34, Township 7 North, Range 4 East" was read the first time. It was moved by ylderman. Cook, seconded by Alderman Smith, to suspend the rules. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, Turner, Staley, Cook and Hill. NAY: None. Ordinance "Annexation of Chatauqua Addition" was read the first time. It was moved by Alderman Smith, seconded by Alderman Sebree, to suspend the rules. Roll call vote AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, Turner, Staley, Cook and Hill. NAY: None. The chair declared the motion ,carried. Alderman Smith moves, seconded by Alderman Miller to place the Ordinance on its passage. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, Turner, Staley, Cook and Hill, NAY: None. The chair declared the motioncarried and Ordinance passed, being Ordinance No. 300. Ordinance "Annexation of James Seery's Addition" was read the first time. It was moved by Alderman Sill, seconded by Alderman Staley, to suspend the rules. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Swick, Smith, Miller, Tink, Turner, Staley, Cook and Hill. NAY: None. The chair declared the motion.carried. Alderman Hill moves, seconded by Alderman Staley to place the Ordinance on its passage.
