M. with May or woods presiding. Noll call showed the following present: Alderman Duncan, Sebree, Lundry, Swick, Smith, Miller, Coleman, Turner, Staley, Cook, Jennings and hill. Absent: Alderman Skinner and Wink. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and stood approved as read. AM Request of the American Legion to hold a Fireworks Celebration on July l,th, was on motion of Alderman Jennings, seconded by Alderman Smith, granted by a viva voce vote. The following yearly reports were submitted and on motion of Alderman brnith, seconded by Alderman `'oleman, accented and ordered filed: Street Supt; Cit,,T Engineer; Bldg. "omm; Chief of "olice; Fire Chief; Firemen's Fund; Water Treatment -clan; sewer dept; City Attorney; Water & Sewer Dept; Plumbing lnsnector; Liquor Commission; Board of Local Improvements. The City Attorney explains to the Council the R,iral Fire .District Tax, and after considerable discussion it was moved by Alderman Lundry, seconded by Alderman Cook, the council go along with the farmer's proposal of a Farmers Fire District and work in accord with them. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman ncan, Sebree, undry, Swick, mith, Miller, Coleman, Turner, Cobk, Jennings and Hill. %,Y: Alderman Staley. The chair declared the motion carried. Resolution transferring from the sales Tax Fund to the Road & Bri;?ge Fund, the sum of W00.00, was on motion of Alderman Smith, sec-)nded by Alderman Hill adopted by the folt wing roll call vote: A','E:Alderman Duncan, bebree, 'undr; , Swick, smith, Miller, Coleman, Turner, Stale;, Cook, Jennings and Hill. NA": None. The chair declared the motion carried and resolution a domed. Ordinance "No narking 50ft. east of Second Ave. on Llm St." was read the first time. It -eras moved by Alderman Cook, seconded by Alderman Jennings to suspend the rules. Alderman Cook moves, seconded by Alderman Coleman to place the Ordinance on its passage.
