M. with Mayor Woods presiding. Roll call showed the following present: Alderman Hunan, Sebree, Lundry, Swick, Smith, Miller, Skinner, Tink, Coleman, Tur- ner, Staley, Cook, Jennings, Hill. Comm; St. Sutp; City `''ngr; Plumbing lnsp; Water do Sewer Dept; Sewage Treatment; water treatment plant. Communication fr:jm the Dept. of Rev)nue acknowledging receipt of copy of City Ts Ordinance Municipal Retailers ' Occupation Tax of zc, effective Nov. 1, was on motion of Alderman 'Juncaz , seconded by Alderman Oinith, accepted and ordered filed. It was moved by Alderman Smith, seconded by Alderman Jennings, the city start proceedings to re-surface W. Elm st. beyond -Ive. D, and Ave. C north of Spruce St. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Lundry, Swick, Smith, Miller, Skinner, `fink, Coleman, 'irurner, Cook, Jennings and Hill. NAYt Alderman Duncan and Staley. The chair declared the motion carried. a �t It was moved by Alderman Staley, seconded by Alderman Cook, an Ordinance be prepared, placing Yield-Right-of-Way signs at 7th and 8th Ave. and ::.ne St., and the motion carried by a viva voce vote. After considerable discussion pro and con relative to the parking situation at Ave. A and Elm St., it was moved by Alderman. Jennings seconded by Alderman Smith, to leave the parking facilities as they are now. Roll call vote: AYE : Alderman Duncan, Sebree, Lundry, Swick, Smith, Tink, Coleman, Staley, gook, Jennings and pill. NAY: Alderman Miller, Skinner and Turner. The chair de- clared the motion carried. Alderman Cook moves, seconded by Alderman Staley, and 'rdi.nance be drafted setting a 10 minute limit at loading and unloading zones, and the motion carried by a viva voce vote. It was moved by Alderman Tink, seconded by Alderman Skinner, and "rdinance be drafted placing Yield-Right-of-Way signs at Tamarack and S. Main St. Limits, and the motion carried by a viva voce vote. On motion of Alderman Smith, seconded by Alderman Duncan, the meeting then adjourned. C ity e AA An
