M. with Mayor woods presiding. Roll call showed the following: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder', Skinner, Tink,, Cook, Staley, and Klobuchar. Absent: Alderman Coleman. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and stood approved as read. It was moved by Alderman Skinner, seconded by Alderman Linder, the "ayor and City Clerk be authorized to enter into contract for the purchase of a Leach Packer with GMC , priced at $6100.00. Roll call vote: AYE: Alder- man Sebree, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Lender, Skinner, Tink,, Cook, Staley, and Klobuchar. NAY: Alderman Duncan. The chair declared the motion carried. Alderman Lundry moves, seconded by Alderman Linder, the "layor and City Clerk enter into purchase contract for an Austin Western Sweeper at $7500.00. Roll- callvote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Tink, Cook, Staley and Klobuchar. NAY: None. The chair declared the motion c arried. Alderman Staley moves, seconded by Aldeimn Duncan, the S & L Coal Co. be given permission to drill for coal at the city dump grounds, to prospect only for coal. Resolution for additional streets lights at 10th and 11th at Sycamore and Birch Streets, was on motion of Alderman Klobuchar, seconded by Alderman Duncan, adopted by the following vote: AYE, : Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Tink, Cook, Staley and Klobuchar. NAY : None. Ordinance "Parallel park i_ng on Elm St. from 141a in to eve. !t" was read for the first time. 1t was moved by Alderman Klobuchar, seconded by alderman Moore, � to suspend the rules, and the motion carried by the following vote: AYE: Alder- man Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, "Pink, Cook, Staley and Klobuchar. NAY: None. It was moved by AldermanKlobuchar, seconded by Alderman Moore, to place the ordinance on its passage. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebred, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Tink, Cook, Staley and Klobuchar. NAY: Alderman Skinner.
