ORDINANCE NO. 1+03
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF ED'S
AUTO UPHOLSTERY AT THE ADDRESS OF 345 NORTH 7TH, CAN7JON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, IT appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton County, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is
located within the corporate limits of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition for a home occupation permit was duly filed by
the Petitioner and due and proper notice there was published within said
City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois
and the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning said Petition was held before the
Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois, on the 13th
day of Sept., 1993, pursuant to notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commission did
thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that said home occupation
for the operation of ED' AUTO UPHOLSTERY at 345 North 7th, Canton,
Illinois be allowed.
NOW, THEREFQE3E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a home occupation permit for the operation of Ed's Auto
Upholstery be issued to and the same hereby is issued to EDWARD GOODWIN
at the address of 345 North 7th, Canton, Illinois, affecting property being
legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
3. That this home occupation is to EDWARD GOODWIN at the above stated

address only. That any cessation of such by EDWARD GOODWIN or his moving
or removal from said address shall,automatically terminate said permit.
That, further, such home occupation permit is not transferable or valid at
any other address or affecting property.
4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps
and related regulations be, and the same hereby are, amended to reflect .the
foregoing home occupation permit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
ILLINOIS at a regular meeting this 5th day of October , 19 93, upon a roll
call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Molleck, Phillips, Sarff, Bohler, May, Chapman,
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Aldermen Cosy, Meade.
