With Mayor moods presiding. Roll call showed the following present: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Linder, Skinner, 'Link, Coleman, Cook, Staley, Klobuchar and Puskarich. Absent: Alderman Smith. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and stood approved as read. Comm; Sec. Fire Dept; Chief of Police; Plumbing Inspector;Water & Sewer Department; Sewage Plant; Water Plant; City Treasurer. It was moved by Alderman Moore, seconded by Alderman Duncan to accept. the reports and place on file. It was moved by Alderman Staley, seconded by Alderman Linder, that an Ordinance be prepared starting the increase in salary of city employees the same dates as the Fire and Police department increase, and the motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. It was moved by Alderman Moore, seconded by Alderman Sebree, the Mayor, Clerk, Treasurer, .6ngineer, City Attoryen, cm d any Alderman wbo may wish to do so, attend the annual Convention of the Illinois Municipal League, and the motion carried by a viv° voce vote. 8 Communication from Crawford, Murphy and Tilly, Consulting Engineers, requested a change order covering the additional electrical work for furnishing 2400 volt service to the water treatment plant was read, at a price amounting to $2,174.00. A communi- cation from the Sppon River Electric Co. setting a price of $450.00 for transformers in connection with the improvements at the water treatment plant, was also read. A lease between the City of Canton and knsseell Reed, to rent three acred adjoining the Sewage Plant was read. On motion of Alderman Tink, seconded by Alderman Klobuchar, the clerk was instruc- ted to mark the absent Aldermen present, and the motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. On motion of Alderman Moore, seconded by Alderman Duncan, the meeting then adjourn. ed. r i i
