M. with Mayor woods rresiding. Roll call showed the following present: Aldermen Sebree, Duncan, Moore, LunAry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Coleman, Staley and, Pusknrich. Absent: Alderman Tink, Cook, and. Klobuchar. Minutes of the previous meeting were read. and stood approved fls read. Resolution appropriating the slim of $40,811 .79 from the Motor Fubl Tax F�znd for payment of cert^in bonds and obligations outstanding for street imrrovements, was on motion of Alderman Moore, seconded. by Alderman Duncan, adonterl by the foliowixr vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lun:?ry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Coleman, Staley and Puskarich. NAY: None. Revolution calling for a nrima.ry election on October 27th, 1053 and General Election on flee. 15, 1953, for the purrose of nominating end electing a. cand.id_ate �., for Judge and Clerk of the City Court, was on motion ofAlderman Moore, seconded. by Aldermen Linder, adopted by the following vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, ,. Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Coleman, Staley and Puskarick. �t An Ordinance entitled " Ordinance authorizing the execution of an Agreement with the C . I. P. S. Co. for Electrical Fnergy for Municipal Pumpting" was read for the second time. It was moved by Alderman Moore, seconded by Alderman Sebree, to place the ordinance on its nassape. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Skinner, Coleman, Staley and Puskarich . WAY: None. The following bid was submitted: Locks Motor Co.- - - - - - _ 2305.74 Trade-in Ford- - - - - - X1305.74 Difference - - - - - 1000.00 i On motion of Alderman Duncan, seconded by Alderman LunAry, idm the purchase of a Ford car from Locks Motor accordinp to bid submitted., was approved, and the Mayor end City Clerk were authorized to enter into contract with Locks Motor for same, and the motion carried by unanimous rollcall vote. On motion of Alderman Moore, seconded by Alderman Staley, the Mayer and City Attorney were authorized to attend hearing with the Illinois CommPree Commission, and enter a protest to increase of rates of the C. I. P. S. Co, , and the motion carried by a viva voce vote. On motion of Alderman Skinner, seconded by Alderman Lundry, the clerk was instructed to mark the absent Alderman present, and the motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. On motion of Alderman Staley, seconded by Alderman Moore, the meeting ad,iourned. City Clerk
