WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Iiiinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located
within the corporate limits of the City of Canton: and,
WHEREAS, a petition for a home occupation permit was duly filed by the
Petitioner and due and proper notice there was published within said City
and County, all in acccordance with the Statutes of the State of Iiiinois
and Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
Whereas, a public hearing concerning said Petition was held before the
Planning and coning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois, on the 13th
day of September, 1993, pursuant to notice; and.
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commission did
thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that Bald home occupation
for the operation of a Glass Repair Shop at 880 Old Locust Street, Canton,
Illinois be allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, Fulton County, Iiiinois as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County.
Illinois, hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a home occupation permit for the operation of a glass
repair shop be issued to, and the same hereby is issued to E. JEFF STANLEY
at the address of 880 Old Locust Street, Canton, Illinois, affecting real
property being legally described on Lot 5 in Haines First Addition to the
City of Canton Situated in Fulton County, Illinois.
3. That this home occupation is personal to E. JEFF STANLEY at the
above stared address anly. That any cessation of such by E. JEFF STAtyLEY
or his moving or removal from said address shall autom~atlcaliy terminate
said permit. That, further, such home occupation permit is not
' transferrable or vaiid at any other address of affecting any other
property.
~. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents
maps and related regulations be, and the same hereby are, amended to
reflect the foregoing home occupation permit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting this u51t uay of September. 14 93
