A regular meeting of the City Council held this day convening at the hour of 7 :30 P.1L. with iLiayor goods presiding. poll call showed the following present : Alderman 3ebree, 1Blackaby, Moore, Jones, laurphy, Skinner, Linder, hand , link, Cook, St. Clair and j'lobuchar. Absent : Aldermen Terpening. hinutes of the previous meeting were read and stood approved as read . it was moved by Alderman laoore, seconded by Alderman Cook, the absent Alderman be marked as present, and the motion carried unanimously. It was moved by Alderman St. Clair, seconded by Alderman 'link, to accept the reports and place on file, by viva voce vote. An Ordinance "Salary-City Attorney" was reed for the first time. It w.as moved by Alde ,rnan Moore, seconded by Alderman Sebree, to table for further consideration, and the motion carried by a viva voce vote. resolution for cancellation of the r'ranchise Agreement 17rith the Canton City Lines, Inc. , was adopted on motion of Alderman Skinner, seconded by Alderman Cook, by the following vote : AYE: Alderman Sebree, Blackaby , "=oore, Jones, Murphy, Skinner, Linder, hand , Tink, Cook, St. Clair and hlobuchar. 111AY:141one. The chair d eclared the resolution adopted. Resolution authorizing the City 'Treasurer to transfer from the Water J: Sewerr'und , the sum of 42,000.00 each month, for a period of 26 months, to a certain fund to be used solely for the extension of ;) ater & sewer facilities to the Van Dyke Park Addition and Llaple- hurst Addition, was submitted , with the amount.. to be deposited in advance by the property oviners , in blank sum. It was moved by Alder- man Blackaby, duly seconded , to adopt the resolution, with the sum to be advanced by the property owners to be fixed at some subsequent meeting, after the committee had met with these property owners and determin d the pt. Alderman Hand moves , seconded by Alderman Linde"T Ta`ofe'We"A'VfBtion until the blank amount can be filled in , after a meeting of the property owners in these additions xxidt with the Nater &: Sew(:r committee, i'inance Coi,.mittee and City Attcrney.
