ORDINANCE NO. 1396
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION
OF A AUTOBODY REPAIR AND PAINTING SHOP AT THE ADDRESS OF 843
EAST WALNUT STREET, CANTON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton County, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described
is located within the corporate limits of the City of Canton;
and,
WHEREAS, a petition for a home occupation permit was duly
filed by the Petitioner and due and proper notice there was
published within said City and County, all in accordance with
the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of
the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning said Petition was
held before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Canton, Illinois, on the 12th day of July, 1993, pursuant to
notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said
Commission did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council
that said home occupation for the operation of a autobody repair
and painting shop at 843 East Walnut Street, Canton, Illinois
be allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois, hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be
fact.
2. That a home occupation permit for the operation of
a autobody repair and painting shop be issued to, and the same
hereby is issued to DAVID A. BARNETT at the address of 843 East
Walnut Street, Canton, Illinois, affecting real property being
legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference.
3. That this home occupation is personal to DAVID A. BARNETT
at the above stated address only. That any cessation of such
by DAVID A. BARNETT or his moving or removal from said address
shall automatically terminate said permit. That, further, such
home occupation permit is not transferrable or valid at any
other address or affecting any other property.
4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate
documents, maps and related regulations be, and the same hereby
are, amended to reflect the foregoing home occupation permit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 3rd day of Atz~ust ,
1993, upon a roll call vote as follows:
